Ten years ago I lost my Mother and earlier this year my Father also passed away. I couldn't express my regrets, my deep pain for their lost in words. I composed this album containing my feelings I wasn't able to express in any other way.
May they rest in peace!

"Black Tears" and "The Tree of Life" was nominated for the German SCHALLWELLE Electronic Music Award in 2018.
Nord won the 11th place in the Best National/International Artist category, the 11th place with Black Tears and the 18 th place with The Tree of Life in the Best Album category.

I think Cosmic Ground is a exciting band. Old fashioned and with nice vibes and rhytms. But I miss something. Many compare with TD. Maybe, but I lack the crescendo at the end of the songs. It becomes boring when the end lacks a Froeselike guitarsolo. Something is missing, the crescendo is missing, the songs just exit out with no proper end explosion. Roger Adler
